Auto Service Job Placements

The Automotive Service program has experienced success in working with their business partner, Gurnee Hyundai, which is a part of the Bob Rohrman network.  Mike Kobus and Bazil Bhatti (Warren) and Sergio Garza (Waukegan) have been placed at the dealership prepping new cars for delivery and serving as porters. Additionally, Jason Leonard (Zion-Benton) started his employment as an apprentice mechanic working alongside their full-time mechanics.  Two years ago, Bill Smith (Grayslake Central graduate) was hired by this same dealership and is currently a journeyman technician.  Mark Strege, Service Director, is very pleased with the skills and knowledge of the Tech Campus students.  He plans to further their education by sending them to manufacturing training schools.
