Early Childhood Students are raising funds to help students continue their education towards becoming teachers. Little Caesar's fundraiser offers a variety of pizzas, pies, cookie dough as well as other snack items (pretzels, wings, calzone and the ever famous bread sticks!!). Each kits sold can help the Early Childhood students earn $7. Our goal is to beat our last year profit of $1000. Please consider supporting this great effort. The Medical Assisting students participated in October’s Breast Cancer Awareness. This photo will be entered in a raffle sponsored by Robert Morris University showing school spirit to win an iPad 2  to be raffled off at our Tour of Tech. All proceeds will benefit  Breast Cancer research.

This Thursday, October 20, there will be a meeting in the triple classroom for those SkillsUSA members that are attending the Fall Leadership Conference. The meetings will take place at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. Students attending this conference must have all fees paid and forms returned to Ms. Martin by Thursday.
The Cosmetology program is asking for everyone to collect aluminum pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Memorial Hospital. Pop tops can be dropped off in the front office and placed in the marked container. Collected pop tabs are recycled, generating much-needed funds to support the House and the nearly 1,900 families served each year. Your pop top donations are greatly appreciated.
The Culinary Arts program will be opening the student deli this week. As students visit the deli, you are reminded to be respectful and clean up after yourselves. Enjoy the good eats!

Bring your student ID to the Cosmetology Clinic and pay only $2.25 for a haircut! Get your hair and nails done for homecoming or another special event for a special price of $12.50! All high school students are welcome, so spread the word! Cosmetology Campus Creations Salon is open Wednesday through Friday from 8:30-11:45 and 1:00-4:30. We will also be providing services on Saturday, October 15 from 8:00-2:00 (the last appointment is taken at 11:00 a.m.). No appointment necessary!

Students will be informed by mid-week of attendance for the SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference. We are still working out last minute details and do not know how many students are able to attend.
Student Ambassadors that are currently selling candy, please have all monies in by Tuesday, October 11, to Mr. Benedetti in the Business Office.
Classes will not be held on Monday, October 10, in observance of Columbus Day. Enjoy the long weekend!
Classes will not be held this Friday, October 7, as this is an institute day for the Tech Campus.
Wednesday, October 5, the Tech Campus will host a luncheon for our new member school liaisons. A building tour will be provided during third session.
Tuesday, October 4, and Thursday, October 5, the Tech Campus will host an Articulation Meeting for member school guidance counselors, special education staff, and various other personnel. Building tours will be conducted during second session of each day. Student Ambassadors, please be ready to greet our guests.
