A representative for the College of Lake County will be in the lobby to speak with students on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
Congratulations to Kristin Jans (Early Childhood Education, Wauconda) and Brandon Bauer (Criminal Justice, Mundelein) as they were selected to attend the Illinois Principals Association Breakfast with Mrs. Riddel on Wednesday, April 18. These students were selected for their outstanding leadership both in the classroom and their communities.
SkillsUSA members attending the State Conference are reminded to pick up a Permit to Drive this week if needing to drive to the Tech Campus on Thursday, April 26.
Applications for the College of Lake County Career Foundation Scholarship are due to Ms. Martin this Friday, April 20, by 3:00 p.m.

Spring Break is next week at the Tech Campus. Classes will resume on Monday, April 2. Enjoy the week away!
Friday, March 23, is an early release for PM Cosmetology students. All students will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m.
The student deli is closed this week. Students are reminded to plan accordingly.
The College of Lake County Career Foundation Scholarship application is now available in the front office. Completed applications are due to Ms. Martin by Friday, April 20. The College of Lake County will select two applicants to receive the scholarship, covering two years of education. Please read the application carefully.
SkillsUSA members attending the State Conference are reminded that all fees and forms are due by Wednesday, March 21.

SkillsUSA Fundraising will begin this week. SkillsUSA members interested in selling candy to offset the cost of the trip will need to have all required signatures on the Tech Campus Fundraising Agreement form before candy can be sold. ALL forms and fees ($170.00) are due by Wednesday, March 21.
There will be a meeting today in the Media Center for those SkillsUSA members that plan on attending the SkillsUSA State Conference at: 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 2:15 p.m.

SkillsUSA members that have registered to take Written Qualifying Exams are reminded to complete the SkillsUSA Professional Development Program (PDP) exam by Thursday, February 23. Members may take the PDP exam in their program area or meet Ms. Martin in the Media Center on Thursday at: 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 1:15 p.m.
SkillsUSA members taking Written Qualifying Exams are reminded to be at Libertyville High Schools this Saturday, February 25, by 8:40 a.m. Members will only need to bring a picture ID along with writing utensils. We will not have exam tickets this year. Good luck!

SkillsUSA members are reminded to register for written qualifying exams if you have not done so. Registration will be finalized on Friday, January 20.
The Tech Campus administration is working on a rescheduled date for Tour of Tech. Information will be forthcoming.
Juniors don’t forget to meet with your guidance counselors to register for Tech Campus classes for the 2012-2013 school year.
Rotary scholarship applications are available in the front office. Students will need to contact their local rotary club for further details.
The Tech Campus recruitment season continues this week with presentations at Vernon Hills on Wednesday, January 18, and Waukegan on Thursday, January 19. Student ambassadors from these schools that are interested in helping please see Ms. Martin and contact your member school contact for permission. The Waukegan recruit is an evening event.
